POWERLIFTING

FUNDAMENTALS.

A 4-week deep dive into preparing for the competition platform.

At Burley Strength, we believe powerlifting is one of the most accessible sports in the world. If you've ever wrapped your hands around a barbell then powerlifting is for you.

We've been involved in the growth of the sport in the ACT since 2014 and in that time we've seen hundreds of lifters hit the competition platform for the first time.

Our Powerlifting Fundamentals course was designed to help guide new lifters through the murky waters of stepping onto the platform for the first time. By the end of this 4-week course you’ll be ready to crush it on the platform at the next Novice Powerlifting competition here at Burley.

Powerlifting Fundamentals includes:

  • 18 hours of in-person coaching in a small group setting (3x 90min sessions p/w)

  • Pre-recorded theory modules covering everything from the rules of powerlifting and basic anatomy & physiology through to advanced programming strategies

  • Unlimited business hours access to Burley HQ for optional extra sessions

  • A comprehensive training plan to cover the optional sessions
